Dave BOYLE (USA)

BOYLE is an American writer, director, and producer. He made his feature film debut in 2006 with {Big Dreams Little Tokyo}. Other films he has directed include {White on Rice} (OAFF2010) and {Man from Reno} (OAFF2015), and produced {Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong} (OAFF2016), {I Will Make You Mine} (OAFF2021), and {Cat Daddies} (2022). His latest Netflix-produced directorial effort, “House of Ninjas”, is now available worldwide. He co-wrote the film {Tokyo Cowboy} which will be screened as the OAFF 2024 Closing Flm.

MURATA Atsuko (Japan)
CEO, Mimosa Films, Inc.

After graduating from university, MURATA worked for Tohokushinsha, then GAGA Communications (now GAGA), and Media Suits (later merged with Nikkatsu), where she was in charge of film purchasing, distribution, and publicity. In 2009, she became a freelance publicity producer and distributor. On December 8, 2011, the anniversary of John LENNON’s death, she founded Mimosa Films, Inc. whose main business is purchasing and distributing foreign films. Films distributed by the company include {Into Great Silence (Die grosse Stille)}, {Ex Libris: The New York Public Library}, {The Right to Happiness (Il diritto alla felicità)}, and four HONG Sang-soo films.

Angga Dwimas SASONGKO (Indonesia)
Director

After studying political science at University of Indonesia, SASONGKO founded Visinema Pictures through which he created TV commercials, music videos, and films. His works include, {Hari Untuk Amanda} (2010), {We Are Moluccans} (2014), {Filosofi Kopi} (2015), {Letters from Prague} (2016), and historical action comedy {212 Warrior} (2018). His latest film {13 Bombs} will be screened at OAFF2024 in the Spotlight section.
