Smart use of limited sets, cast, and sound effects broaden out the world of two solitary souls, trapped amidst the protests around them. Waew is a young woman living the life of a kept mistress in an apartment atop a high rise. At street level, protestors resist police round-ups. Waew’s only company is her pet rabbit but when it dies one night, she believes that it was because of a particularly chaotic protest and this loss leads her back into the life of Tao, a young protestor who has feelings for her.
