“Police flats” are government subsidised housing for law enforcement officers and their families. Sometimes hundreds of families can live in close proximity and the ties that form can be unforgettable. Such is the case for Jane, a young woman about to leave the police flat where she was born and raised. As she thinks of her adolescence, she remembers the intimacy between herself and Ann, the ambitious older girl she adored. As they grew older, personal tragedy, financial hardship, and the appearance of a handsome young policeman tested their bond.
For her feature film debut, writer and director WONGSUTIN used her own experiences of being the daughter of a police family and living in a police flat to create a new take on a coming-of-age drama.
