Nito, a fifth grader, heads to the nurse’s office after getting hurt from fighting with the boys from class as they always do. There, they see their classmate Shiori and learn about her secret. Tey open up to each other about their secrets, leading to mutual affection. However, they’re conflicted about feeling different from everyone else. After losing their sense of belonging, they both sneak out of school to the lake where they can be their true selves.
