Kishida works as a bank employee in Kochi. Due to a vacancy at the head office in Tokyo, he was suddenly transferred to Tokyo. As it was a sudden decision, he decided to stay at the home of his high school friend, Kura, who was working as a part-time worker in Tokyo. Kishida, who likes to be alone, becomes exhausted by the new work environment, with its late-night drinking parties, and his life with Kura.
Meanwhile, he learns that Kura may have mental illness. Kishida couldn’t leave his old friend behind, so he decided to stay at Kura’s place and canceled his appointment to visit a place to move into.
However, one day, Kishida could no longer tolerate Kura’s selfish behavior and left his room impulsively. Finally being alone, Kishida decides to end his relationships with Kura and his girlfriend Yuzuha and start a new life in Tokyo.
