International Premiere<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su-yeon is a counselor at an orphanage and she has four days to settle family affairs in the distant city of Asan before she is back on the job. A solemn, haunted presence, she is making her way to the coach stop with the type of dourness that suggests a weight presses down on her heart. Maybe it might overwhelm her. Losing her phone is the catalyst for a chance encounter that changes that. A street busker named Sang-su is heading in the same direction and takes notice of her and forces his way into her life\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director UM Munsuk works with his best friend, the popular singer Hwang Chi-yeul in an on-screen role that riffs on his skills and gives his personality space to shine. Tension is built as we wonder about his character\u2019s motivations as his crazy yet charming behaviour makes him hard to read while the question of what weighs Su-yeon down is teased and plays out in a way that suggests fate is looking out for her\u2026 [Jason MAHER]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
